Here’s an oldie. Look at that weather! Brrrrrr!! Wind blowing off the lake. Perfect weather for a round of disc golf!

In an earlier post I noted that the ‘Old Course’ had several holes that ran along the shore of Lake Michigan.
The weather, such as it is in October and early November, could make shot-making a bit of a challenge. Stories abound of shots going astray, catching in the wind and blowing far into the water and high into trees. There is a sad feeling one gets when watching what started off as a good throw get caught in the wind, soar 50 feet in the air and a 75 yards in the opposite direction of the hole.
The picture below shows, from left to right, Cow, Dag and Leo waiting for something…probably your friendly editor, to complete the hole.
