There are 44.36 mL in each 1.5 oz shot. doing the math, there are 16.907 1.5oz shots in a fifth. Not off by much really, but the extra mil and a half would be nice. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;a fifth holds 17.066667 shots<br \/>\n1 shot = 1.5 ounces<br \/>\nIt depends on the definitions. A fifth of a gallon is 25.6 oz, 725.76 mL.
